Description

The Secret Weapon Intake for the 03-08 Mazda RX-8 was designed to increase air intake volume to the engine using Weapon R’s patented secret weapon induction technology. The concept is to create two opposing air velocity profiles during the inductions process, one traveling at a significantly higher speed than the other. This technology increases air volume and speed to the engine, which results in 3x more air induction than the conventional air intake system. The intake pipe is mandrel bent out of high quality 6061 aluminum polished to a mirror finish, offering advantages in both durability and weight savings. All Secret Weapon filters feature a tuned velocity stack to simultaneously increase velocity while eliminating turbulence.
